The Explorer Scout Section is District-based covering Airdrie, Coatbridge, Motherwell, Shotts and surrounding villages. An Explorer Scout Unit meets on a Monday evening and is based in Coatbridge, and Motherwell Unit meets in Newarthill Scout Hall on a Wednesday evening. A new Explorer Scout Unit has been established in Chapelhall.
