Gimmie 5 Challenge

Between 12th-20th March 2005, thousands of Scouts and WWF supporters were challenged to take part in an exciting new joint initiative called The Gimmie 5 Challenge.

The 8th Airdrie (Chapelhall) Scout Troop organised an Australian Bush Adventure from Saturday 19^th to Sunday 20^th March 2005 at Coltswood and extended an invitation to all Scout Troops in Monklands to join them. There were Bush Tucker trials, Wellie Throwing, a Boat Race (with no water).

The 9th Airdrie and 2nd Coatbridge Scout Troops, Rt. Hon. John Reid MP and Karen Whitefield MSP joined the 8th Airdrie for this event. Click here to see the photos.
