Marath7ON, the Scottish Scout 7On Appeal, was launched in the Scottish parliament in December 2005. All Sections had been challenged to raise funds for this Appeal.  The challenge is for every Scout to be sponsored to complete a marathon distance of 26 miles and 385 yards either on foot, cycle, canoe or sailboat.

By completing the challenge every Scout who took part will be awarded the exclusive 7On badge (above left) to be worn on their uniform. You cant buy this.

The Cycle Marath7ON  took place on Saturday  27th  May 2006 and followed the Hillend Loch Cycle 75 route from Chapelhall to Bathgate and back (32 miles).
